Cream Cheese Cookies

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Prepare the Dough:
2. In a large mixing bowl, cream together the butter and cream cheese using an electric mixer until smooth and creamy.
3. Add the granulated sugar and beat for about 1 minute until light and fluffy. Mix in the egg and vanilla extract until well combined.
4. Gradually add the baking powder, flour, and salt to the wet mixture, mixing in three additions until the dough is fully combined.
5. Cover the dough and refrigerate for 1 hour to chill.
Form the Cookies:
6. Once chilled, dust your hands with flour and roll the dough into balls about 1-2 inches in diameter.
7. Place the dough balls on the prepared baking sheet, spacing them 2 inches apart. Gently flatten each ball with your fingers.
