Lemon Flavored Cheesecake

1. **Base:** Crush the Maria cookies and mix them with the melted butter. Press this mixture into the bottom of a springform pan. Ready, refrigerate for 15 minutes!
2. **Filling:** Beat the cream cheese with the sugar until smooth. Add the eggs one by one, the lemon zest and juice, and the vanilla. Mix well!
3. **Bake:** Pour the mixture over the cookie base and bake at 160°C (320°F) for 45 minutes or until firm. Let cool completely.
4. **Garnish:** Garnish with lemon slices and a little more lemon zest for an extra fresh touch.
