In a large skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat.
Add chopped onion, garlic, and green bell pepper to the skillet. Cook until vegetables are tender.
Stir in diced tomatoes, tomato sauce, and beef broth. Bring to a boil.
Add elbow macaroni, paprika, oregano, basil, salt, and pepper. Reduce heat to low and simmer for 20 minutes, or until macaroni is cooked and the sauce has thickened.
If desired, sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese on top before serving.
