S’mores Sandwiches

¾ cup water
1½ cups granulated sugar
1¼ cups sugar cane syrup or corn syrup
Pinch of kosher salt
Marshmallow Coating:
1½ cups powdered sugar
½ cup cornstarch
Instructions:
Prepare the Pan:
Spray a 9”x13” baking pan with cooking spray. Use a paper towel to ensure a thin film covers every surface. Save the greased paper for later.
Gelatin Bloom:
Combine gelatin, ½ cup cold water, and vanilla in the bowl of a stand mixer. Whisk with a fork until smooth and gelatin is fully dissolved.
